Amy’s Chocolate Cake Review

Amy's Chocolate Cake Review

I admit I’m not much of a baker, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. I can’t bake to save my own life. The best I can managed is brownies. Even at that, it has to be pretty much a fool-proof, any-idiot-can-do-it type of brownie recipe.

Lucky for me, Amy’s Kitchen recently introduced their new frozen cakes. Just take out of the freezer and let thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours. Voilà! You got yourself a lovely loaf of cake.

Amy's Chocolate Cake Review

That’s all there is to it – no baking, no mess, no wondering what the heck went wrong. And it taste great! Moist and chocolatey. And totally vegan.

Topped with fresh strawberries and Purely Decadent coconut milk ice cream, there’s no need for frosting. It’s a super easy treat and I don’t have to subject other people to my pathetic attempts at baking. Thank goodness.

I’m glad you wrote up a review of this cake. I’d been curious, but too skeptical to actually buy it. I’m definitely more willing to try it now.

This is a product I need! I can’t bake sweets either. I’ve been told that an oven thermometer might help, but I haven’t tried it yet.

    Thanks everybody for your comments!

lisa (show me vegan) – I don’t know if an oven thermometer would help me, but it probably wouldn’t hurt. :-)

Amy’s Organic Chocolate Cake will knock you off your feet! It’s moist with that deep rich chocolate taste you crave. There’s a perfect balance of sweetness and just the right amount of spring to the texture for something that has been frozen. I was lucky to get the last box at the store and now everywhere I go it is sold out. I’m so happy to have found a chocolate cake that me and my vegan sister can enjoy together without me having to bake one myself.

These are very old reviews I believe the bakery is closed, I am very sad because I loved her chocolate vegan cakes they were made with everything that I could eat I can’t eat other things because I am allergic I wish they would bring those cakes back I keep looking them up and they out they say we don’t know when or if this cake will ever be back I’m very disappointed in us and so are a lot of people when they want to piece of cake and there’s nowhere to go please bring the cakes back Amy Amy
