oh cool, I picked one of these up on sale too… I have it in the freezer for a night when I don’t feel like cooking. I really like their roasts, so I’m stoked to give this a go.

It’s that “salty side” that keeps me away from this and most other prepared food. The more I reduce salt in my diet, the saltier these things taste. I tried some baked tofu the other day that felt like it was hurting my tongue because of all the salt. I’d probably buy this stuff if the salt were within reason.

dan loves the field roast deli slices (the mushroom one is his fav), i might have to see if i can snag one of their meatloafs on sale for him sometime. i can’t do the gluten, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy them!

It’s also available online at http://www.pangeaveg.com, http://www.veganessentials.com or http://www.cosmosveganshoppe.com but it’s more expensive, about $8.50 plus shipping. On sale at the Redwood City Whole Foods, it was $5.29.
